Transparent clutch

Últimamente me ha dado por los DIY o Do It Yourself  y este era uno que hacia tiempo que quería hacer. Así que tras mirar varias páginas, vídeos y demás, decidí hacer mi propio clutch transparente.

Lately I've been interested in DIY or Do It Yourself projects and I wanted to make this one by myself. So, after checking several webs and videos I decided to create my own transparent clutch.

En ellas se explica detalladamente como hacerlo, así que yo sólo me limitaré a explicar como lo hice y a que sitios fui a buscar los materiales.

Those websites explain in detail how to make it, so I'm just going to explain how I made it and where I found the materials.

En mi caso cogí como referencia otro bolso que tenía y dibuje en una hoja una plantilla con la forma que quería.

Es importante recortarla y ver que las medidas encajan, el bolso con forma de sobre cierra y que caben objetos (llaves, móvil, monedero...). 

In my case I took as reference another bag that I had. Then I draw a template on a paper with the shape I wanted.

It is important to take the right measures and check that they fit, that the purse has the shape of an envelope that can be opened and closed, having whatever objects (keys, phone, wallet ...) you want inside of it. 

El siguiente paso consiste en comprar PVC transparente o del color que se quiera (60 cm). Para ello acudí a Servicio Estación, en Barcelona. A continuación se corta el plástico con un cutter según la plantilla. Lo último que queda es comprar las tachuelas, remaches o cierre que se escoja. Se puede hacer con una máquina (como sale en los tutoriales) o en una tienda especializada (zapaterías, curtidores...). 

The next step is to buy transparent PVC or the color that you prefer (60 cm). I went to Servicio Estación, in Barcelona. Then cut the plastic with a cutter according to the template. The last thing left is to buy the studs, rivets or a button to close the bag. It can be done with a machine (as it comes in the tutorials) or at a retail store (shoe shop, tanners ...).

Este es el resultado final, en uno utilicé tachuelas doradas y en el otro brillantes de swarosky. 

This is the final result, one bag has golden button and the other one has swarosky diamonds.  

Si no tienes tiempo o no te atreves, siempre puedes acudir a Zara, Stradivarius, Maxa azria, Bimba y Lola o Chanel.
