Torre del Remei

El Restaurante Torre del Remei forma parte del Hotel con el mismo nombre, ubicado en el Pirineo catalán, concretamente en  la población de Bolvír (La Cerdaña). Al ser de noche no se podía apreciar el espectacular edificio: un auténtico Relais & Châteaux, obra del arquitecto Freixa.

Torre del Remei restaurant is inside the hotel with the same name, located in the Catalan Pyrenees, specifically in the town of Bolvir (La Cerdaña). It was dark so it was imposible to appreciate the spectacular building: a real Relais & Châteaux, it was built by the architect Freixa.

El restaurante es amplio, con posas mesas y espacio entre ellas para mantener la intimidad. Presenta una cocina creativa, pero que a la vez fusiona la cocina clásica y de autor. Tras una "vichyssoise" como aperitivo, llegaron los raviolis de trufa y foie (realmente excelentes), por último, el steak tartar cortado a mano. Como postre, crema catalana con helado de canela y algunos dulces.

The restaurant is spacious with tables and space between them to maintain privacy. Its cuisine is creative and  fuses classical and signature cuisine. After a "vichyssoise" appetizer came the truffle and foie gras ravioli (delicious!), finally, hand-cut steak tartare. For dessert, crème brûlée with cinnamon ice cream and some sweets.

Es un sitio ideal para aquellos que buscan tranquilidad y exclusividad, sin renunciar a la gastronomía propia de la zona. Muy recomendable para cenas especiales en pareja.
