Cuando pienso en esta isla, pienso en tranquilidad. Es una de las islas Baleares más bonitas y menos explotadas. Destaca su vegetación salvaje, sus calas paradisíacas y la variedad de su fauna. Estoy segura de que muchos ya lo conocéis, así que sólo hablaré de mis rincones favoritos.
When I think on this island, I think of tranquility. It is one of the most beautiful Balearic Islands and less exploited. Wild vegetation, paradisiacal beaches and variety of wildlife. I'm sure many of you already know it, so I'll just talk about my favorite places.
Es Mercadal es un pequeño pueblo encantador, formado por pequeñas casas blancas al rededor de una plaza. Es genial para pasear por sus calles los días de mal tiempo. Además, hay uno de los mejores restaurantes de Menorca: Moli des raco.
Es Mercadal is a cute village, there are small white houses around a square. It's great to walk through its streets during bad weather. In addition, there is one of the best restaurants in Menorca: Moli des raco.
Uno de los mejores planes es pasar el día en barca, parar en alguno de los puertecitos a coger la comida y comer en alta mar. Me encanta Cala Galdana, un pequeño puerto con un chiringuito muy mono en medio de la playa. Cala en Bosch, en cambio, es un puerto más grande y hay una de las mejores pizzerias: Café Venezzia.
One of the best plans to spend the day by boat, stop at any of the little ports to pick up food and eat at sea. I love Cala Galdana, a small port with a very cute beach bar. However, Cala en Bosch is a big port and there is one of the best pizzerias: Coffee Venezzia.
Es un pequeño puerto con muchos restaurantes, perfecto para ir a cenar al lado del mar y los barcos.
It's a smal harbour with lots of restaurants. It's perfect to have dinner next to the sea and the boats.
Esta y Cala Pregonda (primera y segunda foto) son dos de mis calas favoritas. Sus aguas son cristalinas y de un color turquesa, que nada tiene que envidiar a las playas del Caribe. Además, no están abarrotadas de gente porque es muy difícil acceder a pie.
This and Cala Pregonda (frist and second picture) are my favorite beaches. Turquoise waters that have nothing to envy to the beaches of the Caribbean. Moreover they are not crowded because it is very difficult to access on foot.
Mahón y Ciudadella, dos de las ciudades más grandes y importantes de la Isla. De Ciudadella me encanta el casco antiguo y sus tiendecitas. También me gusta el puerto con sus restaurantes y terrazas para tomar algo. Mis sitios favoritos: S'amarador, Cafe Balear y Casa Manolo. La bahía de Mahón es enorme pero muy tranquila. Mi rincón favorito es el restaurante S'espigo.
Mahon and Ciutadella, two of the largest and most important cities of the island. I love the old town of Ciudadella and its shops. I also like the harbor with its restaurants and terraces to have a drink. My favorite places: S'amarador, Cafe Balear and Casa Manolo. The Mahon bay is huge but very quiet. My favorite place is the restaurant S'espigo.
